I can live with the pattern/color, not a fan of the collar, but I really dislike the stripes on the sides.
Yeah same. I quite like the pattern but the stripes feel like someone in the design department got carried away.

Whenever football shirt companies try to do a 90's style they get it wrong, and that whats happened here. Its too dark, looks too grey and grubby. If they wanted to do a crazy pattern they needed to lean into it more and make the colours pop too.
It's perfect for the kids. We've been spoiled with tons of lovely simple jerseys recently perfect for the older jersey wearing fan. The kids want a flashy top and they got one here. Every year cant be a boring retro edition for the old fans like us.
So do a separate kids' set. And then do one proper shirt for people who don't want to dress like they're five.

If we were a top team I'd enjoy us wearing it cutting teams apart but if we have a 5-0 loss covered in blood splatter we'll look like badly injured dicks.
As a design I actually quite like it, but I can't get used to Arsenal shirts being white. It's not right.
