pundits are talking as though spurs are nailed on for 3rd, and some are actually grouping them with liverpool and city in the 'streets ahead' category. that's asinine for a team that barely finished 4th, 25 points off title pace and only 1 point ahead of us

re: kits - got my bruised banana aubameyang kit incoming. had to do a bit of digging to get hold of one!

it's not like we have a lot of points to make up from last season either. they've improved their squad, but so have we and i think enough to make up that difference.

Yeah, the Spurs love in is weird. Their fortunate run to the final has masked a lot of shortcomings in their efforts last season. If Emery had his head screwed on right, we would beaten Palace and they'd be playing Thursday nights. If they lose Eriksen, they are weakened as Lo Celso will need time to settle and isn't going to have the same impact right away. There are very much in it with us, United and to a certain extent Chelsea in the chase for the 3 and 4. I think it'll be us and Spurs in the end but it'll be close between all four teams and marginal between us and Spurs/United.

Sidetracked, but for the first time ever I've gotten all three kits. The home is my favourite though. Yellow a close second. Actually don't like the third but it'll be useful for 5 a side's.

IMO the TH 'love' in the media is a bias as a result of their ENG senior player representation.
I'm of the opinion that we've improved out team/squad in terms of quality of performance capability/options more so than any of the other top6, whereas CFC are now in the worst position based upon those criteria.
Similarly whilst MU have strengthened their defence they are also committed to a very limited style of play.

The second factor for me is that so far as I'm aware no other top6 contender can pinpoint any one are for substantial improvement ass we can re the difference between our Home and Away form. The Home form has us top 3 - if we were to simply match the average amongst the top6 re Away form we'd be clear in 3rd. If we were to match the ration whereby our wins is equal to or better than the combined games for draws and losses then we'd not only be a clear 3rd, but we'd be closer to the top2 than we would be to 4th, and with our Home form we'd be in a 3 way scrap for the title. Last season only the top2 achieved this ratio regarding Away form.

Apparently there is a 4th(??) about to be released, and then there is the warm up kit as well.

bought the home shirt recently. It's great. They don't sell junk versions of the player kits, unlike Puma.

There's 2 versions, fan version and player replica and both are affordable. Very different quality though

Material is vastly different and even the badge is different. One is stitched on cloth and the player version is rubber badge.

Adidas got 3 version though, after the player replica there is a player version and that costs a bomb. I was used to all manufacturer having just the fan and player version.
