I loved it. The sight of the pristine green grass, the sound of leather firmly thumping on leather as boot hits ball, the satisfying swishscratch of the net as the ball nestles in it after a good strike, studs crunching sweetly on such a perfectly cut and manicured turf. I could almost feel the warmth of sun and the heat of summer out there as I listened to the sprinklers jet. Made me so nostalgic, and brought this old man memories of my playing days. Would give Claudius’ left testicle for the privilege of witnessing a training session like that live. I miss the game so much.
Great to see Welbz back on his feet and doing light training. Instructional to see how much we work on attacking down the flanks and low crossing into the middle. Leno and Cech as play makers in the orange bibs to improve their foot work and passing, Suarez looking busy, etc.
