This guy was wishlisted here last year (or the year before?) as we could all see his quality so there's no doubt Arsenal are aware.
For WH to win his signature for only £24m and us nowhere is an indication of the type of player we are going for.

They flat out don't rate him. Their treatment of him has been disgusting. They were willing to sell him to Willem II after the spring he had, but the Dutch couldn't afford to take on his wages. Maybe Arsenal weren't the right destination for him at this stage, but we should have thrown our hat in the ring. Strikers who are that complete don't move for those kind of fees anymore.

West Ham signing Fornals and chasing both Maxi Gomez and Lobotka and also Ozan Kabak.

Such exciting signings, wish we were chasing these players instead.

I struggle to see anything special about Gomez and Lobotka. Especially for the prices being rumoured.

In all likelihood he’ll be looking for a guarantee of regular first team football. We can’t offer that right now

Spurs make Ndombele bid?

The Sun reports Tottenham have launched a club-record bid for Tanguy Ndombele.

The Lyon midfielder is a target for a host of clubs after some excellent displays in France.

It is claimed a £60m offer has been made by Spurs.

I might not watch next season. I’ll feel like I’m in the Bad Place.

Spurs will decline. They’ll also be mentally drained from last seasons bottle job effort. It’s within our gift to close the small gap on them. Sensible proactive recruitment and squad management to prioritise the league.
