it's the players. they can rise to the occasion in one off games, but anything requiring consistency is beyond them. they are too comfortable, been at arsenal too long. even last year in the CL knockouts they lost the first leg and then delivered in the 2nd with their backs against the wall. our CL knockout record was 3W 2L 1 trophy. in the league that's a poor record.
i thought she was different, but it turns out the only difference between her and jonas is luck with injuries. in 2023 we lost in the semis to wolfsburg in extra time with all our best players out with ACL injuries. a healthy arsenal could have easily won that year and jonas would have been viewed differently.
