I was minded to post something along those lines yesterday but held back as i felt it may come across as kicking Emery when he is down.
However, thinking about it now, Emery is ok as, with his record, he will never struggle for employment unlike Joe whose impressive achievements count for much less (outside the USA) as they are in the women's game.

Nice article here on the women's great season. Excellent work by Aussie Joe. My sister used to work with his wife in Melbourne as an aside. With the work he has done with two teams - Melbourne and Arsenal - transforming them into defensively solid title winning sides, I'm only half joking in saying he should get a shot with the men's team.

He's just won the Women's Super League Manager of the Year.

From what I gather, the ladies seem to be preparing nicely for the upcoming season.

The summer signings have a clear plan and things look to be on the up on the pitch too.

Obviously the acid test will come in the season opener against defending champs, Chelsea.

The league will be won or lost depending on how we do in the head to head matches against our two biggest rivals - Man City and Chelsea.

Hopefully the Heath signing can help turn things around, maybe even convince Miedema to stay? We beat last season's league winners and CL finalists Chelsea today so that's something.

Miedema just gave an interview to guardian few days ago. She won't mind staying if she see enough ambition and progress in the team.

The new coach has them playing a higher energy game, which I like. Some real grit in that squad as well. Missing DvdD a bit but Iwabuchi, Tobin, and Parris more than make up for the loss of experience and leadership.

I was looking earlier. Looks like the games not on Sky are either on BBC or free streaming from the FA website. Haven't checked though. Today's game was on Sky.

Watched the game as the streaming service here in NZ that has the EPL has picked up the women's league this season. I enjoyed watching the last 2 women's World Cups and the women's football at the Olympics but hadn't watched an Arsenal women's game until now. Breath of fresh air after watching our first 3 games so far. Lovely first goal from Mead too.
