I thought Guedes had his up and down moments; people were frustrated with his decision making before the goal.

I agree about Bernardo and Bruno; I thought that William Carvalho and Danilo were a great CDM pairing. Pace, power, passing, defending....they bossed the midfield today. De jong was pretty invisible for the most part. Ruben Dias looks like a good CB prospect in the making as well.

This Portugal team looks stronger than its 2016 counterpart and will be primed to make another deep run in Euro 2020.

Bernardo Silva is absolutely top class. What a player. For the price City got him for it's superb business too.

No idea what's up with the dish brush, but it sure looks like bigotry.

Half the time when I travel I have to wait for hours to get processed by customs though. Not sure why it would be different for football players, especially when they arrive at a tiny country where the airport is experiencing more activity than usual. The entire Icelandic population is just 350K people, and only a third of them live in Reykjavík. If Baku was ill-equipped to handle travelling fans it's nothing compared to Iceland.

Maybe it's just me but i feel this brings new meaning to hosting as i don't think journalists should be joining in the dickhead behaviour of fans.
TBH i still harbour hopes that this was simply a prank by some "shock jock" type show.

That's disgraceful from the Icelandic authorities . Don't care about Emre , but making the team go through that is not on. Imagine if the Turkish immigration and customs did that to the England team , it would be condemned and make headline for days.

I didn't pay attention to where he played, but he did come on for our boy Larsson who had been playing in CM.
Such a waste. Spain had possession, struggled to break you guys down. Should've easily been a 0-0 draw.
