I really don’t understand what Madrid are doing. Will be interesting to see what they have planned, could end up being smart and forward thinking. Until they actually sign some players though it just looks like self sobotage.

Ronaldo was becoming a distraction, becoming bigger than the club/team. He's 32, not getting younger, not getting fitter or stronger.. Granted he's still a physical specimen, but his value will only decline from here on out, so they cashed in on him while they could. Might actually make them more cohesive as an actual team.. (or it could send them into a temporary free fall for all i know)

This Barca side seem to have the right balance again. Suarez is tailing off and probably the only player in the XI who you could question. Amazing place to be that, when Suarez is your weak link.

Yeah he was player of the tournament in last year's Copa Libertadores I think. Pretty rare to see someone who fits Barcelona so blatantly when he's from a different country altogether. He was brilliant vs Spurs as well
