Yep, looks a clearly case of an instinctive movement to me.

If his hand did not move then it wouldn't be a penalty but instinctive or not, if you move your hand out of its natural position towards the ball to block it then it's a penalty. Pretty easy decision in the end.

Don't think there was much doubt considering he moved his hand tiwards the ball. Reactive or deliberate, it doesn't matter.

That's the thing with VAR. It can slow it down magnifying the incident when things are completely different in real time.

He needed to go back to VAR for what was an obvious handball. There's advantages and free kicks he is just giving to Croatia for nothing.
