Agreed.. and if Corluka starts at CB, England forwards could have a field day against him since he has the turning radius of the Titanic
Croatia should play Jedvaj.
Anyway they are completely knackered after 240 minutes of games the past week and have so many injuries to key players. England will win this easily

Yep, that's what I think too. Normally I'd back them to win because I think they're a bit more mature, whereas this English side won't peak until next tournament. But they looked absolutey spent after 120 minutes against Russia. I'm pretty sure I saw someone puke over the sideline afterwards.

I'd be very surprised if this tournament isn't the highlight for this England side.
You reckon? I'm not talking about how far they'll go, but most of them seem to be in their early or mid-20s. I'm thinking Maguire, Stones, Pickford, Rashford, Kane, Sterling, Lingard etc will be a lot better footballers 2-4 years from now.
that's assuming they havent already hit their ceiling
I recon we’ve a lot of improving to do. Next tournament our guys will be ready
It’s the end of the road for us tomorrow. Croatia have too many streetwise and clever players for us
Great tournament for us nevertheless - extremely proud of the lads
As individuals they will obviously improve but I just don't think they'll match this progress due to a combination of it being unlikely they get as good a draw and heightened expectations. And maybe a bit of ego development as the players establish themselves in the game.

what happened to "it's coming home" ?
Plus England are killing it at youth level these days. Future is very bright

Fun banter.

I’ve been known to amuse meself
I was born with a world class sense of humour so I’d be a right old silly pants not to make the most of it eh

Now there's even more pressure on the game
We don’t need a bank holiday - they’ve entertained us enough already. Been a great couple of weeks no matter what happens tomorrow
We’re underdogs but we just have to give it a real go
I see Sterling as key. Croatia and France don’t have fullbacks which can handle an inform Raheem. He might do bits this World Cup yet
Thanks for the anti jinx attempt, hopefully it pays off.
This is it for England, win it now or be doomed to another fifty years of has-been status.
Looks good enough for a comfy win. Would have preferred Sterling further back in place of Alli and replaced him with Vardy up top but this team seems to have done well enough as is.
Get the fuck in.
