Good game. Brazil actually played some decent football tonight, and Belgium was dangerous on the counter attack. Hazard is one hell of a player. Easily the best player still playing in the world cup.

if there was a historical cockup involving VAR in the final, i wonder if it would kill the concept

I don't how there could be a VAR cockup. It may take a ton of time but the right call is generally made 99% of the time when it's called upon.

eh, the person making the call is still human. There was already one case in the prelims - guy heads a ball onto someone's elbow, was adjudged peno by VAR.
