If I was the Chelsea owner wondering whether to continue to invest in Sarri, I would at least be encouraged by the post match interview. He shows very good leadership qualities throughout.

A few points
- he doesn’t come in with answers. He is a man open to what the solution might be, and will work with players ro get to it
- he does not throw people under the bosss
- on the contrary, he actually lifts the players by indicating that they are able to do well in tougher circumstances.
- it’s nof an i alone mentality. Will clearly take the team.
This is a massive contrast to Mourinho. The only problem is some of these attributes might be seen as lacking decisiveness by fans and the media. Problem is that uninformed action can be counterproductive. This was a guy who had less than a month to prepare for the season.
