Van Dijk is a despicable cunt.
Let's home city take it home now.
Perfect result. Liverpool's unbeaten run shattered, and you don't even have to credit City too much because with the players they've got they should win this fixture 6 times out of 10.
Exhilarating game of football.
Ok go on now City, win the title.
Never thought I would see a Pep side playing that desperately at the end, hoof balls and all.
No more invincible threat!

City really weren't all that good either to be honest.

Only they could do it much easier to us due to their unlimited funds. A KDB replacement isn't easy to find no matter how much money you've got.

I agree with Claude here for what it's worth; I think Fernandinho is pretty unique and has been their best midfielder over the last few years. Such an absolute diamond when he's on song.
It's sad that he stayed at Shakhtar for so long. If he had played longer in a big league he would probably be universally considered one of the best midfielders of the last 2-3 decades.
How the fuck is Fernandinho 34? What an engine. What a midfielder.

Right, they did their best to bottle this and still won, much to Liverpool's dismay. I'll be napping like a baby tonight.
Yup Liverpool were the much better side in the first half when they were playing on the counter. If Mane scores, they win this game, imo. My Liverpool mates bemoaned Gomez's absence and predicted Lovren being their weak point.
spurs to win the league
😆 Come on. When you're playing Brighton and the likes you can think of winning convincingly, but when you're playing Liverpool and winning - you are that good. Unless that's only if we beat teams like that.
What an icky thought.
City showed how it's done.
You get fucking tight to every one of those Liverpool players, you don't let them win the second ball, you keep them pinned in their own half as much as you can.
Fuck van Dijk and his ugly mug
And fuck Liverpool

will you stop with this shit?
Delighted to see Liverpool's unbeaten run end.
City's defending is impressive (as is Liverpool's), but going forward City looks uninspiring. They've looked a lot less creative than last year.

Incredible performance, one of the best CM performances I've seen in many years. He didn't get much support by either Silva in the first half but he won everything. Best player on the pitch without question. At his age he can't perform like that every week and City look a DM short this season.
