We are doing alright for young mids so it'd be tough to squeeze the budget out for him. He'd be a good long term replacement for Xhaka if we could manage it. It's a smart investment though so it shouldn't really be considered as any sort of risky outlay. Price dependant I suppose.

Chambers seems to be settling into midfield for them but I don't think thats gonna help his Arsenal career at all. Maybe if Emery wanted a long term back 3 but I don't see him in a back 2 now. Its a pity because he's quite good on the ball.

It's a pity, I remember we almost got him when he was young. Was at our training ground and all but not sure what happened afterwards. Same for the Nigerian wonderkid Samuel Chukwueze, doing brilliant for Villarreal now but we ended up with Kelechi.

Chambers has been a revelation in midfield for Fulham.

Liverpool is the real deal, but when you invest that much in your squad you expect to be challenging. We all laughed at the prices but Allison, VVD are all extremely worthwhile.
