Refs don't need help, they need training. I'd love to put my faith in VAR but when you know the same people who are on the pitch will be behind the screens you know any hope is misguided
Maybe the dinosaurs at PGMO need to think about bringing in foreign refs, the EPL's status is mostly built on foreign players anyway so why not. I wouldn't be in favour of it generally speaking but English refs are so hopelessly out of their element that you have to at least consider it, it would also serve to break up the old boys network of Riley and his goons. Good thing about refs is they don't have to be from the big dog nations, some of the better ones are from smaller countries which would somewhat diversify the pool of people who will fuck us over
