The blitz doesn't happen anymore because they've realised that even with a deep squad it can't work over a 50 game season.
Firmino just isn't as good as always having chances to hurt the opposition in transition made him look. The same is true of Mané and Salah too quite honestly. They're a better team for it; more balanced and well protected, but the attackers are facing numbers and less space more often than not. In that scenario, Firmino suffers more than the other two because he doesn't have the same tools they have to create for himself and others.
