I think our attack is much better once it gets properly going.

1-2 Spurs, Lamela with a sharp-angled blast in at the far post from a corner. Liverpool unnecessarily shaky now.

Pickford is one of the most overrated goalkeepers I’ve seen in a while. The only thing he has over a scrub like Mignolet is how far he can kick a ball.

Why didn't we , or any other top club go for Felipe Anderson? Looks a very good player so far.

I like him too. He was patchy in Italy, but at his best he's as good as any winger in the world. Lazio demanded crazy money for him in the past which fended off Manchester United and a few others. Not sure why no big club took him this summer though. That crazy speed is an incredible weapon.

I don’t take much stock in how many English players did at the WC. They beat who they shoud’ve and lost to anyone close to or above their level. Trippier was fhe only one who really changed my opinion for the better.

I didn’t really see Pickford do anything that someone like Ben Foster couldn’t.
