Haven't seen this but I'm not even surprised. All nationalism can be considered a mental illness but with Germans it's a genuinely pathological for some reason. Whatever dignity was left is delightfully shed when the NT plays almost as if they were just waiting for an opportunity. It's to be expected by the overall right leaning masses but you think you could expect better from media trained football stars or pundits and moderators employed by public broadcasters but they fucking relish the chance to joke about and humiliate other nations. It's sickening and after a week or so of interesting football a good reminder why I loathe international football.

Good for the World Cup to have a Germany over a Sweden.

You want the worlds best players to remain in the latter stages of the tournament. Sweden would have offered little value in KO stages imo.

I'll say this though sometimes it's absurd enough to be funny. I just left the house to walk my dog when an autocorso drove past my house honking, with a fat shirtless fuck hanging out the passenger window screaming "fuck IKEA" 😆

It just seems so obvious. I really don't understand a lot of what Low does. I'm not a fan of his at all, even if he has won a World Cup. Delighted we didn't end up with him at Arsenal.

That was a superb moment of quality when it was needed from Kroos. But Larsson, hard as he worked, was a disgrace for turning his back on the shot.

Could be a massive moment though, because if the Germans stop handicapping themselves, they could actually end up winning the whole thing.

Can't blame Larsson for trying to block the shot the way they've trained. That goal is the fault of two players only: Guidetti, who gave the ball away instead of holding onto it because he's the kind of prick who'd rather go for glory from a terrible distance and angle in the 94th minute than do a job for the team, and Jimmy Durmaz who should never be allowed to play for the national team again after that foul. He had one of the worst substitutions I've ever seen in all my years watching football. Germany's best player in the last 20 minutes.

I can't tell who it is either. People say that Oliver Bierhoff was involved somehow, but that's definitely not Bierhoff.

Voigt came into the dressing room afterwards to apologise apparently, which was good of him. Whole thing's a storm in a teacup really, but it's so unnecessary. I just hope Janne Andersson, the manager, doesn't get suspended for the Mexico game as a result. I think Sweden still have a pretty good chance to win that one, but it's gonna be difficult and doing it without a coach doesn't make it easier.
