Wow another late goal. Switzerland now almost through
Group E (Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Serbia)
Amazing Shaqiri. Deserved goal.
Brilliant
Wow. Sensational end to the game.
That celebration again lol. The Kosovo derby.
Shaqiri is honestly wasting his career at Stoke - get him out.
Played Shaqiri, think he'll get a move from Mordor now.
Switzerland is really a good and solid team, very underrated.
Feels like Albania vs Serbia this.

They look like the best coached team in the tournament so far. Possibly Mexico as well but they've only played 1 game.

If only they had some better forwards. Embolo needs to start for them.
No wonder they are 6th in the fifa rankings. They are now the first team to come from behind to win in this world cup.
We are starting to see more goals as teams become desperate.
Top game. Second best after El Clasico

Switzerland have only lost 1 in the last 24 games apparently. Incredible.
12m clause on Shaqiri. He'd be a step up on the bench from the likes of Iwobi etc.
Sign him up.
Sad I missed the second, first was good but sounds like it kicked up a notch.

Sign him up.
He's not this good normally. He was extra motivated because he wanted to stick it to the Serbs.
He was even wearing the Kosovo flag on his boots.
There's a reason why he's at Stoke and hardly any top club wants him.
Shaqiri is the Swiss Coutinho
Can bang one in, but pretty limited through the rest of the game

Cheers

Both Friday evening kick offs.
How was Lichtsteiner?
Solid. Nothing much going forward but none of the full backs really got forward much for either side, it wasn't that sort of game. He did a lot of good things on the ball and was always there when he needed to be in defence.
Loved him going mental at Embolo in the 95th minute because he chose to play a speculative cross instead of running it into the corner.

Good. His athleticism for a 34 year old is outstanding.
He's still a very good player. How he copes with the Premier League tempo is a bigger concern than his age, I think. There have been a lot of great fullbacks who kept playing until their late thirties.
He remains a top athlete
Lichtsteiner is such a prick.
That's the stuff our squad of schoolboys was missing. The type of shithousery that wins you titles
You can understand with the other two, heβs literally just trolling
By the way, 2 matches in and Lichsteiner looks solid as ever
Xhaka and Shaqiri facing bans for their goal celebrations:
Lichtsteiner getting away with it
Understandable as, unlike the other 2 who are of Kosovan/Bosnian heritage, his hand signal could be argued to be ignorance of the significance.
Tbh, This does nothing to endear him to me
Why do we want a prick on the team again?
His dad was imprisoned in Serbia back in the 80's for campaigning in favour of Kosovan independence. His family had to immigrate to Switzerland to escape Serbian genocide. It's more than just a football game for Xhaka.
Bet he would happily take the ban as well.
Yeah, I have no opinion either way but it's not really my place to judge given the extremely recent history. The Serbian fans were just as incendiary
No suspensions handed out. Just a fine.
FIFA don't like making difficult decisions so no surprises there
Very pleased for both of them, especially our Granit. Lichsteiner is such a troll
I love it.
Our boy JC starting upfront for Los Ticos tonight
