Joel Campbell to have an absolute stormer and leave on a free.
Neymar embarrassing defenders last night, looks like he'll be coming back just fine from his injury.
Wild that he's quickly approaching Ronaldo's goal tally for Brazil
Neymar looks scary good going into the tournament, but I think Jesus is going to be just as important for Brazil. Bloke's just a supreme talent. No one as good has emerged this decade except Mbappe.
Fantastic article about Brazil post the 7-1 game against Germany: https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/world-cup/2018/exorcising-the-ghost-brazil-and-the-7-1_sto6794528/story.shtml

Jesus doesn’t get the hype he deserves. I agree with you on all three men.
Firmino has been much better this season. Jesus generally plays better for Brazil though, so you can't blame them for playing him.
Jesus has started less than half as many games as Firmino, but he's been a fair bit better than him whenever he's had a run of games in my opinion. Their league output was practically identical but Jesus only played half as many minutes. He had a dry spell after his injury but it happens. Fully expect him to be a starter for City next season.
It's remarkable how far the Brazil squad has come along since 2014.
*since they sacked Dunga

Firmino's game is hardly about output, especially when flanked by Salah and Mane.
Jesus plays well with Neymar and that's probably enough to get him the nod ahead of Firmino.
I didn't say it's all about output, I said I think Jesus is a fair bit better even at this early stage of his career. It's not like output is unimportant for a striker though.
Costa Rica and Serbia off to an electric start, both sides with great chances in the first 2 mins
Serbia have some midfield. If they only had a couple good forwards you'd back them to go pretty far.
Costa Rica really should be 2 goals up by now, 2 free headers missed
Gotta love Navas's goalkicks. Best keeper in the world when it comes to that aspect.
I like watching Bryan Ruiz so much. Skillful on the ball and full of intelligence. Shame he hasn't lived up to his abilities for his career.
I really liked Ruiz too when he played for Fulham. Entertaining, clever player.
Keylor Navas is really one of the best 1v1 keepers I have watched in the past 2 decades. So good in his positioning to get down
What a freekick. That's better than Ronaldo's
