He may not be rapid - but he just faced Mahrez and Manchester City and never allowed himself to be 'burnt for pace' even once. Sure in a straight forward foot race he'll probably lose but hopefully he can use 20 years of experience to make sure moments like that are few and far between.

I look at it this way - if we don't learn from past mistakes we're not going to learn or be able to progress. AW was always very quick to say the players would learn from defeats but they sure as hell didn't look like the learned a bloody thing.
So I'm going to keep the fires burning until the stench is removed.
