Sven has secured at least 2 players he was formerly linked with. Raul knows the Barca authorities well. This sounds to me like the deal we should waste our time on.

Exactly. We have done some very good work since Sven and Raul arrived.. Mavropanos, Mhkitaryan, and Aubameyang is great work so far. They had to deal with the Sanchez which was not of there making.

Dembele on a loan, with a compulsory buy clause next year sounds perfect. A front three of Lacazette, Aubameyang and Dembele would be sensational, and almost give us a short cut to compete for the top 4.

With Mhkitaryan, Ozil (will he be sold?), Ramsey, we should have enough firepower and creativity from deeper positions.

Stories that Klopp has gone to see his mom and Barca has agreed a few but it’s maibly Express and similar red top establishments. Let’s see.

Bet Financial Fair Play would be out to get us if we somehow paid 150m+ to get Dembele! 

I'm sure PSG, Bayern, and etc. would jump at the chance to sign him too if he became available.

he's brilliant but also frustratingly inconsistent. Barca has not been able to coach that aspect out of him so far. It's the same Dembele from before he joined.

Yes, I think he'd already be here if it wasn't for the ridiculous fee that Barca would want to recuperate. But how do we raise part of that cash? By selling Laca? He's the only spare player who's worth any money, but it'd leave us dangerously thin up front.
