Doesn't have to be every week, I just want to see what a midfield with those qualities looks like in an Emery team. Actual players aside, it seems like the right profile for what could really work in a perfect world.

Unfortunately, I put up with the entirety of last season and as much as I want Emery to surprise me, I'm fully done.

I'm just praying that we get top four.

I agree we were hard to watch last season with very little fluidity but the ugly football was because Xhaka was the main playmaker.
This year we have Ceballos who i think will improve that aspect of our game.

That was the worst year out of his reign and the football, though terrible, was more eye catching than last season's football when we didn't even look good during the record run that ended in November.

Recency bias. You guys have forgotten how bad the football was in Wenger’s last few years. A just got paid Ozil, and an error strewn Sanchez were actually the best things about our team.

Last season wasn’t great. But I am not going to judge Emery on it. This season though...

Haven't forgotten anything.

When you sit in the stands every week watching the worst football you have seen in 20 odd years, paid a ton that month, then walk through the pissing rain and take two hours to travel 5 miles - it gives you a perspective.

Shittest season ever. Hideous.
