He's never going to step up and lead the team. He'll continue doing what he's been doing since he arrived here. Hopefully a new manager and having Aubameyang, Mkhi, Laca, etc as outlets means he can do what he's there for more. Right now we are 6th, no CL football for the 2nd year in a row and we've just tied him down to a contract no one else will match. Arsenal and Ozil are tied together by their current mutual mediocrity. Both club and player will struggle to find a better option. We need to just build a team that doesn't expose his weaknesses and hope he can find another 15/16 season in terms of output.
