Nah he struggled badly from memory. He showed flashes in pre-season but then he hardly had a look in and when he did he struggled. Pretty much the same as Nelson.
I think it's important to remember that Nelson isn't just hyped by fans.
Ljungberg is a pundit on Swedish tv this season. He was working as an Arsenal youth coach very recently. He mentioned before the game that he thought it was a year or two too early for Nelson to start games, but everyone within the club has very high expectations on him. Nelson has been training with these first teamers for years and measured up against them. Özil has apparently taken him under his wing after being impressed with his technique. His time will come.
He still has the physique of a boy and I reckon that's the biggest issue right now.
