What I like the most though is how he is linking up with the kids. He’s doing a great job of being a pivot for them. This is some of the best football I’ve seen him play. Movement is everything. It makes everyone look better. Xhaka looks better. Tierney looks better. Laca looks better.

The Laca upgrade can definitely wait til summer.
If we can do Xhaka earlier would be ideal. But not stressed out

Improve those two positions with top class players and we automatically move into contention for CL places.

I see it that way with Lacazette, Xhaka among 2-3 others too but I also wish it as a reward for their own sake and commitment to the club. Lacazette in particular I think is a better player than he's shown and worthy of national team involvement and kinder moments while here.

His current form is great.
I hope he does well. It would be wonderful for him to finish the season in great form. Then old age homes like Atletico and Inter might inquire about him at season’s end. But we must absolutely look to replace him with someone like Edouard. Edouard can do everything Lacazette can plus he’s a much better dribbler, so worth a look. Lacazette and Xhaka still remain the best options for recouping value in the squad before it’s too late

Laca needs to go either way, now way is anyone shrewd goi g to offer him a new deal. But if you guys love Balogun as much as you claim to, you wouldn’t replace him.

Makes a huge difference. Having 3-4 passing options within 5-10 yards is crucial for making passing football work. I think we looked a lot more compact and quick yesterday than we have in a long time. But, it could also be that wba are just shit.
