Jankto is what Ox would be if he had a brain and wasn't at odds with footballs

Can't wait to see what he can do for us under Sarri next season

Jankto reminds of Bale when he first started to get good at stinky spurs

😆 ffs

Prefer Leon Bailey if we want an outright winger

How much would he cost roughly?

Horn - £5M
Giminez/Manolas/Skriniar/Koulibaly - £30M
De Vrij - Free
Allan/Weigl/Kondogbia - £30M
Bernard - Free
Fekir/Malcom/Bailey - £35M

Out:
Cech
Per
Mustafi
Cazorla
Welbeck

Think you're understating the prices just a tad. There's no way Fekir would go for less than 50m, while we supposedly had a 35m bid for Malcom rejected already. Same with the defenders.

Yeah, that is optimistic, but spend will be around £100-£120M and recuperate around £40M. Our budget is supposedly £70M

I'd like to see us target 22-24year olds in the window. Give the squad a couple of years to gel before they hit their peak.

Agree with Shady. Super quality 22-24 year olds. Even up to 26. We need to balance out the geriatrics all over the team. But please no average Joes. I want stunners all around

How do you like Oxlade Chamberlain so far?

Wow what a charmer

Fuck Carragher, but also fuck that douchebag who gets his daughter to film that and is incredibly satisfied when he finds out that Carragher's spit hit her in the face.

How about Shaw or martial? They could be available this summer

No way on Shaw.

I agree, he doesn’t seem to posses any drive, I would rather Bertrand or Chilwell if we had to buy, but I feel Kolasinac needs more time, there is a player in there.

Yeah, Shaw is a no from me too. I like peak Shaw a lot, but you can't have a player who gains 4 stone every time he pulls a hamstring. I think the double leg break put a much lower cap on how good he can potentially become too.

Martial I would take, but I don't know why he would come here.

Nah thanks. Far better options out there. Neither of those are convincing on the character front

Both Bertrand and Chilwell are average, Shaw has the potential if we get a tough manager in.

Sessegnon is the one to get though.

Yea definitely. Hopefully Fulham don’t get promoted. Be cheaper buying him from a championship team.

He’ll end up further forward though i think.

Martial for sure, no to Shaw.

I'd give Kolasinac a season as first choice under a different manager to see how he goes.

No chance that it is us. With the amount that we need to do in the summer, spending 50 mil on a full back would be criminal.
Besides if Bellerin went, there are cheaper alternatives. Cedric for one, is someone I would look at. Also next year it is impossible for Liverpool to keep Clyne, Gomez and Trent Alexander all together.

When it comes to transfers at Arsenal, Mislintat is in charge it would seem.

I also read somewhere that a couple of apparently very reliable Freiburg "ITKs" are adamant it's a done deal and the player himself was in tears during the lap of honour at their last home game.

£35m for a 21 year old defender. Thats a big call from Mislintat.

£35m including his contract maybe?

Isn't jones from Freiburg? Would love to hear his take on this bloke.

I thought he was from Frankfurt. His take (IIRC from some time ago) was "very quick, two-footed and loves a tackle", but he preferred Diallo.

Me likey too

Woolley is right, I'm often in Freiburg but Frankfurt born and based.

Soyüncü for 35m (Euros, not pounds fwiw) is way too much for him. He's definitely talented more so than Chambers or Holding but that fee is ridiculous, he's worth half that on a good day and that's including the EPL tax. He's good in duels, decent aggression and all-around sound defensively but has many lapses in concentration which are to be expected in that age to be fair. Second season in the German top flight meaning and he's held his own overall but that fee is way too much.

If we're signing defenders from Germany I'd much rather Pavard or Diallo. The former could be available now that Stuttgart have just spent a good chunk of their budget on Maffeo from City, they'll be playing EL qualifiers during the time he'll probably be at the World Cup so Mislintat should move quickly there. Problem is he'll cost probably around 35m - Diallo would be cheaper than that but he's also a little rougher around the edges, Gbamin is another defensive allrounder from Mainz who we should keep tabs on. Generally speaking we should keep our eyes on one of the many French defensive talents coming through at the moment many of which are yet to leave France. Sarr from Nice is the obvious one or Lyons Diakhaby but if I had to pick one it would most likely be Diallo, that aggression is something youre either born with or you're not.

Seems like a promising defender, but 35m is a big call for someone at 21 with only 2 seasons under his belt. 6'2" is nothing to sneeze at either, as he's supposedly good in the air and decent on the ground with the ball..
he would invariably need time to settle in and WILL make mistakes in the early days. (much like our lad Mavro)
