Let’s get hyped

He’s tidy and effective going forward. Would be mad lolz if he outperforms Alexis

If we get Auba he will be decent. If we don't we are going to score fuck all and Mhkitaryan won't help at all.

It doesn't much matter who comes in when the club's leadership remains the same. All seems a bit pointless tbh.

It would have been interesting to run three polls on fan interest in Mkhitaryan

  • before he went to United
  • a transfer independent of the Sanchez situation
  • a transfer as a result of the Sanchez situation

His stock was very high a couple of seasons ago. Mourinho has damaged him. And this depressing Sanchez situation makes him unwelcome in the eyes of many. But how would you feel about the man without these associations?

hes a #10. we dont need another #10, especially one with such little end product.

he looked a decent product a few years ago, but he doesnt fit what we should be trying to do in terms of setting the team up, and hes not a prospect anymore. he turns 29 in like a week. there is no more upside or development. he is what he is. and what he is, is, well, shit.

-Not good enough for Utd but good enough for us?
-If he's seen as Özil's eventual replacement, we should all just pack up and go home.
-As mentioned he's 29 therefore little upside.
-We don't actually need him. Özil is the number 10 backed up by Iwobi. What happens to Iwobi?

-The one potential positive is his partnership with Auba. But who's to say they can replicate that here.

Also looks like Flamini's long lost Armenian twin.

every time i've seen his games for united, he's struggled to complete 5 yard passes and his touch has been awful. and every time i saw him for dortmund he missed chances like crazy

He'll be one of those players who's gonna sit and eat away at our wage bill. We just got rid of Walcott and are now bringing in another player of a similar age and similar uselessness. Good job Arsenal.

Bloke's a statistical fraud if I've ever seen one. We just got Walcott off the wage bill, and then we immediately pick up this guy who's on 1.5 times as much money and roughly half as good. I'd pay United back a few million of the transfer fee if they just agreed to not sell him to us. It's like insult on top of injury. Not only are they grabbing Alexis right under our nose - they're making sure that we're stuck with this donkey for the next two years so we won't go replacing Sanchez with someone who can actually play football.

Yep we're getting totally played here.

I’m by no means his biggest fan but I can’t help but feel this thread is full of massive hyperbole.

I'd say you're right.

I've decided that dula is right

Mkhitaryan rediscovers his form from his last Dortmund season and Aubameyang continues his scoring rate

4 4 fucking 2 it is

Still fucking pissed off that we're dealing with United let alone selling then Alexis but this is who we are for at least another full season

Hope to see some good old attacking football, haven't seen that in a while

Also hope fucking Welbeck stays out of the line-up now for good

I'm hoping he can regain some confidence here. He's a combination player, something sanchez wasn't. The link-up between him, ozil and wilshere has promise in the sense that they're 3 technically proficent players that enjoy pass and move football

Have a heart. For Armenians, this guy is the best thing since the 1970ies 😆

This is the main upside of this deal for me. He's better than Welbz.
