Anyway, this signing doesn't excite me at all. He does not look the kind of player who can replace Sanchez's goal output (2016-17 version), which is what we really need, particularly with Lacazette proving to be an average striker.

Prefer Lemar but this guy looks exactly like the kind of player that we need i.e. a winger who can run at defences and score goals.

Half the reason I want guys like Malcom is because they would hopefully be here when Wenger leaves. If Wenger left after his current contract it could be really good for a player like Malcom to have a season with him and then get a different perspective from a new manager.

Give or take 50m for the two outgoings and roughly the same fee for Malcom you'd break even I'd guess.

70m for Lemar in the summer as Ozil heads out the door and how are you all feeling? God knows how you'd line up.

Lemar is more intelligent, classy play maker who has one of the best deliveries in the final 3rd. He hasn't been as impressive as last season though, pretty sure by the summer we can push his price down if he continue on this form.

Malcom is more similar to Alexis, bags of tricks with a left foot reminiscent of Podolski.

As I understand, Malcom plays on the right. So if we replace Sanchez with him, who is going to play on the left for us? Sanchez is basically the only player of note that we have who can play decently on the left.

We don’t really play with wide players and have two tens so technically we’ll play Malcom in the number ten role.

Then Jack is a fool. He has it all to prove, unlike Ozil. Plus with Ozil going he could get to be the main man.
