That thing Ozil does with hitting the ball into the ground is measured and deliberate, he has turned it into a fine art but there is science behind it as opposition players can't really react to it in time. His control of the ball is genius at times, reminds me of when snooker players do trick shots.

A lot of talk about Ozil this match but I felt it was a Ramsey MotM performance that got it along.

Nope.
It was Wenger switching his role from wide right to the free role.
Ramsey was marked down more for what he didn't do (support his midfield partner) than what he did.

Yep. Ozil has an exceptional 20 mins but Ramsey was super throughout.

Don’t get why people are so obsessed with restricting him for the sake of defensive stability. It’s like having a Ferrari on a track day and saying ‘let’s keep it to under 30mph, don’t want to have an accident’.

Of course you can, especially if you have a back 3. I'd much rather Ramsey be the threat than simply focus on stopping the threat. At his best he's one of the most productive CM's in Europe, if that comes at a cost of a little defensive stability then so be it.

I don't think he abandoned Xhaka either. It's all about timing with Ramsey and the desire to get back. Playing once a week has allowed him to push the limits and he has consistently done most of the running in the team. He is an excellent two way player and has been timing his bursts really well. Moreover, I think he is unfairly accused at times of leaving a hole in midfield when the culprit is some other player, giving away the ball cheaply in a dangerous area with players ahead of the ball.

Xhaka’s problems were 5 yard passes and not because Huddersfield were committing many players to attack.

Tottenham is in poor form. And 2 games isn't exactly a great sample size. Let's see him do it consistently for two months instead is all I'm saying.

Ozil's last 5 games - 5 assists and 2 goals.

Besides, it doesn't really matter what his recent form is. He's 29 years old, if you're not convinced by his quality by now then you've long since made up your mind.
