Almunia has to be one of the worst keepers we've ever had the (mis)fortune of ever watching in the first team. I could have saved that shot with two broken wrists. That was just poor.
Leyton Orient v Arsenal - Sunday, 16:30 - ESPN
There's no doubt the team we fielded had the quality to win this game. We were just so casual, and we never looked interested in killing the game off.
We will win the replay at home.
Credit to Orient, but they were worse than Leeds and Huddersfield were and we really should have won.
The last thing we needed was another game really.
Did the ball really go through Almunia's legs from that far out? :gah:
I'm changing my avatar.
I think most of our best squad players are out on loan ffs...surely Ramsey, Lansbury, Bartley and Vela would be helpful at least.
fixture congestion is nonsense because all this bunch did was earn themselves a replay ... only 2 starters at most will probably play at the grove. i like little clubs like orient so i'm glad they get a big emirates pay day.
so many in this group that started today rub me the wrong way for some reason and i'm not surprised they disappointed again. but i guess they need more time on the pitch together and they earned that today.

If he wasn't demoted this season we wouldn't be in contention, this much is for sure.
A keeper should be saving those.
His technique is shocking.

Doesn't really matter, it'll be the second string again.
Defence switched off right at the wrong time.
Orient really didn't do much in the way of attacking for most of the game.
Almost a professional but uninspiring win from us.
When will this be replayed?
Hell. .....ESPN in cliche overdrive

We will be grateful Otf.
Our second string have done a fine job of letting everyone down this season.
Chamakh looks really out of sorts, I don't think playing Chamakh and Bendtner together in the front three is going to help either player because we look so awkward going forward, particularly when compared to Nasri-RvP-Walcott.
Chamakh isnt' good enough for this club. And he's not on his own.

Given the benefit of playing regularly? Probably. That's always the biggest problem when you swap too many players. It doesn't matter how good they are individually if they haven't played in a long time. It accounts for even less if they've never played together before.
This match was never going to be easy, Orient or not, when we rested so many players. I'm just disappointed that we didn't keep the clean sheet.

In between the Cup final and Sunderland at home.
It was a very poor goal to give. It was too easy, shouldn't be happening in top level football. Miquel is young but disappointed in Gibbs who had an otherwise fine game. I have no expectations from Almunia anyways.
Love the avatar otf!
Ramsey and Diaby could be involved.
Both Diaby and Ramsey should be back for the replay and we may have some directness and vision from central midfield.
i have time for chamakh because i think his first half of the season is more like the contribution (and improve from there) we can expect from him next season. i don't have time for bendtner, i hate bad first touches and his is dreadful. it doesn't mix with our game. his best skill is actually crossing the ball.
almunia, denilson, rosicky and bendtner have to be first 4 out the door this summer and they should fetch good money too.
oh and even though he didn't play today, eboue needs to go as well.
