I think we just played one weak player too many today.
Any one of the players on the bench today starting, and I think we'd have won.

...yeah and that one player was Almunia.
We start with Ches and that's some brief respite from our fixture list along with a cup tie against United.
Any of the others, and we'd probably have managed more than a one goal lead.
Our attackers were third rate
We should have bought on Wilshere, Fabregas and/or Nasri in the last 10 minutes. Might have scared Orient from pushing forward towards the end.

BUT, the captain´s armband?! I never liked it, but now it feels even worse. As a club we deserve better.
Defend Wenger on this one Rex go on give it a try........
I can't envision any situation, any conjunction of events, any bizare senario when that useless sack of crap could ever allowed to play for us again.
Missed the game but not too fussed about this. It was essential to rest everyone after that Barca game considering the upcoming fixtures. We will win at home with the same shite out.
i wouldnt have minded Nasri getting a small runout in the last 15 or 20 minutes to get his match sharpness back a little bit..
I was already prepared for Almunia to play, but I had blocked out that he has captained our club on several occasions. Took a few seconds to realize that he wore the armband. Was angry the whole game after that! A little less when Rozza scored - a little more when they scored...
Just got home. Decent day out, obviously disappointing finish to it. Just goes to show again that some of these fringe players aren't good enough. We kept the ball very well, but struggled massively in breaking them down. Real boring, static passing around the box. But, come to expect that with the likes of those playing today.
Did the ball seriously go between Almunia's legs? That striker seemed pretty quick actually.
Thought Arshavin had a decent game. He really looks to have found his form again. Even alot of the simple stuff was coming off. Was also fairly impressed with how Miquel did.
The replay will be instead of the united fixture so it could work out quite well.
You sure? In the fixture list shown on the website the replay is between the Sunderland and Birmingham fixtures and the United fixture is still after the Barca game.

Really? I thought it would be put in midweek, probably between the CC final and Sunderland.
If they put it instead of the United fixture, when would we play United if we go through?
Sorry, I'm chatting shit. Was certain that the fixture list earlier said the replay would be the weekend of the scheduled quarter final.
No worries mate. Easy mistake to make considering Chelsea and City were both playing 4th rdreplays in the scheduled 5th rd time slot.

But when things like this happen I think of what could have happened, how bad it could have been. Imagine if the score had been 0-0 when they scored? We'd be out, humiliated after a great week. Every mention of our Barca win would talk about how we were put out by Leyton Orient in the FA Cup. Your non-gooner friends, the media and anyone who takes a remote intrest in football would be laughing at us.
See, it doesn't seem so bad now does it?
A replay is annoying, nothing more.
This is the view I'm taking, because I assume these wasters are going to put the tie to bed at home.
Diaby back, as frustrating as he can be, will be a boost against Orient. Maybe Ramsey too.
Up front, I worry though.
Second team is rubbish. That is all that needs to be said.
just speaking in general, i sense a bit of complacency from denilson. he's a kid from very humble beginnings who's making a nice paycheck and living in london now. he's made the big time. he knows he's nowhere near as good as fabregas, song and wilshere, ramsey (assuming he returns to normal) is better than him, and even diaby has bigger potential even if his performances are inconsistent. this is probably as good as it's going to get for him.
Denilson will be able to have a solid career at a midtable club should we get rid of him. He's set.
i'm sure he'd get interest from la liga as well.
