@[deleted], yea that's the consensus. What it comes down to is that he's not a smart player, and his awareness is bad, too. If he had that, it would help compensate for his lack of athleticism. I'm all for selling this summer, as he cannot be the starter in a title-winning Arsenal side, and he's not valuable off the bench.
We badly need a make an obvious signing in CM this summer (everyone knows what we need).
As for reserve CMs, I wonder if a new manager could mould Iwobi to play deeper. He lacks the end product to be an attacking player. It's not a lack of form/confidence, he simply isn't a good shooter or finisher. On a similar note, I wonder if Welbeck should've been converted to RM or even RB earlier in his career. Smart player, good engine, but can't finish to save his life.
