Yeah the country is in a mess and fraught with corruption and many other problems but probably the biggest hurdle are these Alshabab nutjobs. This is a group who are just completely against, and actively trying to stifle, any possibility of progress for the country. They are the same guys responsible for that attack in a mall in Kenya some years ago.
