I couldn't wait to debate about how much we should or shouldn't care about this competition any longer, so here it is!

Fortunately we have what should be a relatively routine home game vs Brighton at the weekend, but still, I'd rest everyone we can. Chambers, Welbeck and Coq are out and Iwobi seemed to be missing yesterday so we're seriously struggling to field a 2nd string side. With that in mind I'd go 4-3-3 personally:

Walcott ------------ Giroud ---------------- Nelson

Wenger though will probably stick with 3 at the back and either shove square pegs in round holes or play some senior players.

Chambers still out? Maybe Pleguezuelo can get a start - he is registered with the squad for the comptt I think. Wenger will probably play Mustafi or Monreal though.

We can lose lots of games in this competition. I would rest irreplaceable personnel, namely the fullbacks, Lacazette, Koscielny, Sanchez, Ramsey.

I would build the team around Ozil, Wilshere and Giroud. That leech Walcott can get a run out as well. Rest can be scrubs and bench warmers.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert

Play Nelson in attack somewhere and AMN in central midfield. PLEASE.

After watching the PSG game, our squad looks extremely Europa.

Want to take it seriously and try to win it but the scheduling is getting annoying already. Used to having to get up extra early before work or recording games and avoiding the result to watch after work for European games but having to do that for the league games too now we're always Monday or Tuesday morning our time.

Wait til Ozil and Sanchez flee in fear. Then we will have a decidedly Europa outfit. Once those boys are gone, I honestly cannot see the path to recovery, especially with Wenger at the helm and various players rejecting him. Fortunately, the Premier League doesn't have a strong group of challengers waiting to drag us into a mid table mire.

Why isn't AMN playing centrally in a game like this though? Is Willock really a better option?
