It's the scousers year sadly. No-one in the CL has any tactical counter for klopp or mo salah this season
Funny, I'm looking at this and thinking Real Madrid will have far too much for the Scousers. Unless they can whip up a storm like they do at Anfield, I can't see how they'll push Madrid back far enough to hurt them with their "gegen pressing" that Klopp constantly bangs on about. They don't counter particularly well from deep and definitely do not defend well when forced into their own third. I think Madrid are good enough, even reaching the end with the team they have, to control the midfield.
Liverpool are at their best against passing teams that 'control' the midfield, they'll do to them what they did to City. That's just playing into their hands. Their biggest nightmare is playing teams that don't want the ball (like Atletico, any team coached by Mourinho, Juve etc).
I really hope I'm wrong but I can see Real Madrid (who have been riding their luck so far) gettiing thrashed in the final. And I'll be forced to support Madrid (a club I can't stand). Depressing.
Worst CL ever!
