LOL. United brass must be organising a midnight meeting tonight. It's not attractive and it doesn't bring trophies. What to do?

Their fans deserve nothing more. Lambast van Gaal for his shit football then rejoice at signing Mourinho. Wut?

Honestly Van Gaal did more with United than Mourinho has over the past two years.

I mean, I guess he's better than Moyes so there's that.

I’m torn, I want to watch the post match analysis but I don’t want to watch Scholes.

United 😆 😆 😆

"Romelu Lukaku has one goal this season against the top six PL sides. Wissam Ben Yedder has five despite playing in a different country."

😆

edit: apparently it's 6 goals! This was posted straight after Ben Yedder's 1st goal tonight.

N'zonzi put in a better performance than I've seen from any of our midfielders this season tbh.

He was super. Granted he came up against a midfield worse than our own but still. I’d take him in a heart beat.

Yeah, incredibly calm on the ball, and physically imposing.

What's worse is that this Sevilla side is vulnerable defensively under Montella. They have just been thrashed by Atletico and Valencia at home recently.

Honestly can't believe Mourinho parked the bus for 2 legs.

I don't think they parked the bus. They just weren't great.

They don't park the bus every time they lose. That's just a stereotype of Mourinho.

At least this gives Mourinho more time to continue his one man crusade against Frank De Boer.

Mourinho has won more trophies.

If you could choose between Mourinho and Van Gaal for Arsenal now who would you choose?

Neither.

Pogba has regressed as well - I know he was struggling with injury or whatever but he's a worse player today than when he joined United.

If you had to though and only those two.

Mourinho is not succeeding in the way he needs to but Van Gaal was poorer.

Now that Spurs and United are out I can enjoy the rest of this a bit more.

Chelsea will get smashed tomorrow night and I think City and Liverpool will get a rude awakening when they meet one of the big three (even if they're clearly not what they were), hopefully in the next round.

Van Gaal won the FA cup - and he picked the club up after Moyes did a number on them. I

It's not even comparing like for like anyway, Mourinho's had tonnes of resources/support from the club and only incrementally improved them. I'd say Mourinho is still the better manager since he has a better CV but if we're comparing their time at United I'd say there's not that much difference, with van Gaal slightly shading it.

Yeah I was relaxed after Spurs. United I thought would go through but not over Barça or Real etc in the later rounds.

Chelsea meh.

City I don't mind actually.

Just seen the result.

They’re tearing into Sanchez on BT Sport, advocating dropping him. Music to my ears.

Ben Yedder's finish for the 1st goal was sweet.

Van Gaal did a number on United. That's why despite the FA Cup he was sacked.

Mourinho won Uefa and Carling in first season. He's now gonna take them 2nd or 3rd most likely which is better than LVG ever did.

Honestly Van Gaal was shocking. It doesn't mean Mourinho is not found wanting but let's be real.

united fans online giving out about Sanchez as well 😆
