Crazy game in the first leg supercopa. Ref going crazy too.  Ronaldo shoving the ref after a borderline red. Endto end football otherwise.

That Asensio is something isn't he

This kid is sensational.

Benzema with another goal, Real are dominating them.

Real playing with some swagger here

Modric has been magical

Yeah Madrid are going to have to cough up money for this kid. All of Europe will be after him after these displays.

๐Ÿ˜† poor Gomes

Madrid look so much better than Barcelona these days. Kroos and Modric just run the show.

Their midfield consists of Andre Gomes and Paulinho. That isn't even good enough for a top 6 team in England. ๐Ÿ˜†

They've made some seriously poor transfers over the past few years (with a few exceptions) - once Messi slows down they'll struggle massively. I suspect they wanted Neymar to be waiting in the wings till then but now that's gone to shit - I guess in 2013 they didn't realise a player would want to move away from Barcelona!

Hope they get mbappe next year with the neymar money

Zidane has the potential to be the GOAT manager. So far no manager has completely outfoxed him yet.

You have to give credit where credit is due, but Madrid have a sensational side. It's hard to go wrong with Modric and Kroos running things in midfield.

Edit: @Clarence.

Think that's well over the top, he has the best collection of players by far. That's pretty much what it's always about.

Also most other top European clubs are going through a period of transition.

Credit where it's due but, as we've seen with others, it's nearly impossible to sustain over a period of 10 years and as teams evolve.

He's doing well, but at the moment he's riding on a wave. His squad is unmatched in terms of talent and the club's right up there in terms of financial power. We'll get a better indication of how good he really is once he changes clubs or stays long enough to re-build the team. Not too long ago people were saying Guardiola is the greatest ever. Turns out his managerial genius is much easier to overcome when he doesn't have generation-talents likes of Xavi, Iniesta and Messi.

I think Ferguson is the best manager in my lifetime by some margin, to be honest. Barcelona under Guardiola is still the best quality football I've ever seen.

Yes, I agree with both of those. Especially about Ferguson. Loved Barcelona under Guardiola primarily because of Iniesta - a player I could watch for hours!
