Just needs some warm socks. He's vertically challenged so this one could be a goer.
Too short, can't tackle, not an area we need average talent. Pass
Looks excellent, in my opinion.
Not sure where we'd play him.
He'd be another square peg
Cazorla position, presumably.
So Xhakas position?
Not entirely, no. I'm not convinced that three at the back is here to stay.
Even with that you'd have to play Seri along side Coquelin. Which I don't think would excite many fans.
Why would you have to do that?
Because of Seris complete lack of any defensive work.
That's not true, or at least it isn't from what I've seen.
Seri has a lot of qualities which we lack in central midfield.

He looks like another player who looks to pass.
Well yea, he's a midfielder.

This guy looks a very good player to me - his passing looks pretty extraordinary and the stats back that up too. A lot of talk about Naby Keita but I personally like the look of this guy more. Not seen much of Kieta to be fair but I did watch him live at the Emirates Cup.
There's lots of noise around about our interest as well, Nice are being linked with a lot of centre midfielders currently - purported replacements.
I believe Nice play against Ajax in the second leg of their Champions League qualifier on Thursday night - score is currently 1-1 after the first leg in France. He has a release clause regardless but if we are legitimately interested then perhaps Nice's participation in next season's Champions League will be a determining factor. I'm sure if we really want him, we'll get him though.
Anyone seen a bit more of him than just YouTube?
You can watch him play against PSG here - http://fullmatchsports.com/full-match-highlights-nice-vs-psg-ligue1-2016-17/?tab=first-half
Type Nice in the search bar and you can watch a number of other games.
He looks very, very interesting.
There have been lots of rumours that we're interested in Jorginho too. We might be in the market for a central midfielder after all.
