Shortly before the game, the editor of a Chelsea fanzine had tweeted that Terry would be withdrawn after 26 minutes.

Sounds like the betting company screwed up more than anything else. This happens sometimes with bets on players who won't start games too and then said player pulls a hammy during warmup. There's always one or two bookies who haven't had the foresight to guard themselves against injuries or are too late to suspend the bet.

The pie eating one was ridiculous too and clearly the bookies fault. If you're going to offer a bet that's 100% the discretion of the subject and has no sporting implications then it's your own fucking fault.

Watching the Bayern vs Liverpool game and have to say Liverpool are looking pretty threatening on the counter and seem to be pressing really well. Have to wait and see how they perform in the league but they're looking pretty impressive tonight.

Started watching at 1-0 but Liverpool looling very dangerous if they can keep this kind of intensity throughout the season. Hopefully they'll burn out very quickly but have to say 4-0 now against a strong Bayern side is worrying.

Edit: Actually it's 3-0, their 3rd goal was ruled out for offside, didn't realise as I'm watching at a cafè and the score from far was kind of hard to see that it was 2-0 and not 3-0 before Sturridge scored his goal. Still a pretty covincing win. Top 4 will be very difficult this year unless United and Spurs flop with CL commitments.
