Another reason to want Allegri - his teams don't give up.
Serie A 17/18

You didn't watch the full game did you Quince? "Correct use of VAR" wouldn't be the first thing to come to mind after that match even if you can defend Vecino's red card. Pjanic should've been sent off two or three times, a knee to Brozovic's chest and elbow to his head and somehow Brozo is booked, fucking Juventus and their paid off refs.
I didn't, but I saw the knee on Brozo and wondered why VAR wasn't used. Someone said it was because it would've been a second yellow and VAR is only used for straight reds. If that's wrong it's not so good, no.

Just watched this, I'd say Juve completely fluked the result. There may have even been something dodgy going on as well. Certainly counts more against Allegri than for him in my view.
They played against 10 men for 85+ minutes and managed to end up 2-1 down after being 1-0 up. They also created next to nothing in the second half until they scored a ridiculously jammy goal. In fact, Inter's 10 men were well on top in the second half. Juve also nearly conceded 3 times after they scored to make it 2-1 in the 89th minute - and Inter had 9 men. They were painfully laboured throughout, looked toothless going forward and without any real game plan or tactic.
Allegri also made sweeping changes after their rubbish performance against Napoli last week and they played at least as bad. Cuardrado, fluked goal aside, at right back was a joke. Perisic killed him. All round this was not impressive in the slightest from the manager or Juve as a team.
Certainly a very lucky and possibly a very dodgy result.
Spalletti screwed Inter over by taking off Icardi and putting on Santon. It's such a stupid move when the striker is the only thing that is stopping the opposition from flooding your half of the field.
At the end of the day Juventus had Higuain though, and that's the other difference. His entire game is about swinging margins. Bloke's had a patchy season and he still has 30 goals to show for it. World class sriker.
Icardi was dead on his feet when Spaletti took him off. Probably should've put Eder on but he's completely fell out of favour, looked shot every time I've seen him in recent months
Regardless none of Higuain Santon etc should've mattered if the dickhead ref had done his job properly
In other news, it looks like Koulibaly just cost Napoli the scudetto.
That's not entirely fair since even if they'd won they would have been a point behind Juventus, but this was probably the nail in the coffin. Clumsy oaf.
2-0 down with twenty minutes left. Just switched over. Looks dire.
That Fiorentina striker looks interesting. Worth another look.
Sad for Napoli, Juventus have all the luck in the world

you know he's Diego Simeone's son right?
I wouldn't mind a package deal for the Simeones.
I honestly didn't know, but not that it mattered though
Such fine margins for Napoli via VAR. I’m sure Sarri would’ve preferred the original decision, which was a yellow for Koulibaly and a penalty for Fiortentina. VAR varied the decisions to free kick outside the box and red card. VAR was correct. And that effectively killed the game for Napoli, I imagine.
Wait... Are you guys telling me that the tightest, most competitive Serie A season in eons is going to be won by the team that basically always wins the Serie A?
What a great league.
Yes yes tumbleweed all you want- I know yourself and jones will defend that gutter league to the end cos it’s what you do, but it’s clear to everyone that it has been, for a very long time, nothing but a one horse race.
Most exciting season. Yawn.
Did an Italian footballer run over your cat or something?
Jesus, can you imagine the carnage if Wilshere did end up moving to Italy?
Wilshere is MLS material

When you try the same joke five times in a week and no one laughs it could be a sign to get some new material, flobs.
