these arguments are a bit disingenuous though. we went 49 unbeaten in a far different premier league.

Go on, say it; "it's more competitive now".

Even though players at the club's that invest to a level that the 14 or so other clubs can't get anywhere near are breaking goalscoring records of incredible players of the past, wide players outscoring world class strikers from yesteryear.

And that's with City investing over a billion pounds in the last few years...

It's been one game! They were pretty good against City earlier in the season without Countinho as well.

Liverpool's attack is fine, they really just need to perform some major reconstruction on their backline and goalkeeper.

Nah, Firmino has always been a very good footballer (that was obvious from his time in Germany), it's his finishing that keeps letting him down. However he seems to be improving on that front this season.

I'm baffled at the suggestions here that Wenger makes good players look bad. You wouldn't find a manager with a better track record of developing players in Europe IMO. He got 30 goals from Adebayor ffs 😆

That was 10 years ago mate. Wenger of the last few seasons hasn't fulfilled many players potential.

I think they'll miss Coutinho's creativity against the bus parkers. They didn't need it today against a team as attacking as City
