Conte making a point by bringing on a 13 year old.

That Brady free kick was brilliant. So unlucky.

Actually fair play to Chelsea for making a proper game of this. If we were 3 down at half time and down to 10 men, then 9, I would have backed us for losing by 5 or 6.

Fuck, that was close in the end. Good result.

Not against Burnley.

Burnley is such a retarded team. Against 9 man and hanging on for their lives. So many chances to attack and kill the game but decided the best way is to soak up pressure.

Morata changed the game after coming on.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea all conceded 3 goals. I'd say the odds fir that were good.

He changed it but also cost them the game with that offside.

First round doesn't seem to indicate that the top teams have improved their defensive games, do they?

Palace losing to Huddersfield 3-0 is the biggest shock result so far tbh

Arsenal (no CB's) and Chelsea (Cahill off) do have an excuse but Liverpool are a shambles defensively, Klopp hasn't resolved anything on the training pitch in that regard.

Fair play to Morata you mean - till he came on Chelsea barely had a sight of goal

Pep is fucking weird. Why does he persist with this 3-3-2-2 tucked-in fullback formation. It doesn't make sense, Kyle Walker is going to have to play like CM?

De Boer effect. He has had a shocker of a start for Inter last season too.

Strange decision that he didn't start, right? So what if he had only lasted 60 minutes?
But, no. Morata made Chelsea more dangerous, but it was a team effort to put pressure on Burnley and pin them back. I would have backed us to do that too, but Chelsea managed to do so without looking suicidal defensively. That's what I would imagine we would be like, and concede more in the process. 🙂

They have Sane, Yaya, Bernardo, Sterling on the bench. Unreal team.

David Silva looks like Steven Ireland
