None, until you jumped in and leapt to his defence after I just stated that he just wanted the attention.
I mean, it's a pretty weak defence I've put up. I'm not particularly bothered, I just think the hostility is a bit random since it was a fairly light hearted post from Clrnc. However, I don't appreciate the sentiment that because it's an Arsenal forum views need to be censored. We even have posts praising Kane and Mourinho around here, and sure, fuck all of them but if that's your pov why even bother coming into 'Other Football?'.
Also maybe it's just me but I find it very strange when people refer to opposition players and managers by their first names or nicknames as if they're best friends.
It's obviously because it's a lot easier to spell Pep. In the same way I call Benitez 'Rafa'.
Fair enough if a team or a player does well be objective and give them credit, I'm not a hater. They get a lot of credit for things they are doing right, but for me this isn't one of those times. No need for any kind of censure. But it works both ways.
Thing is I didn't even say anything major. I didn't question anyone's comment and just stated my views; that he looked like someone who was looking for attention. If that really mattered to him he could have had a word after the game in the tunnel or dressing room.
People can like whoever they want and hate whoever they want but if I felt that Guardiola's actions was all just for the cameras and another ploy for the media am I not allowed to say so? I don't understand why I need to defend my comments in this regard on an Arsenal forum for having that point of view.
