Do you think his previous role on the wing suited hin more? 

I think he's playing in his best position but not with the right CM partner in David Silva. Someone like Gundogan along with Fernandinho could bring the best out of him. He still makes a lot of attacking runs from midfield into the final 3rd playing alongside Silva but he'll be able to make them more without having to run back all the time with a more defensive astute CM partner like Gundogan.

Gotta say, City seem to have found the best keeper for their system. His kicking is ridiculously good (akin to midfield pass master) and he seems to be good at making saves as well, unlike Bravo
