Think he'd be worth looking at again given our predicament and new formation. Ozil, Mahrez and Sanchez as a front 3 would be a big upgrade.
Not bad if we can't find a new striker. What worries me is that every time we start think of Sanchez as our new centre forward we end up with Giroud or Welbeck by November.
Mahrez and Özil in the same team? 2 lazy bastards who won't track back. No thanks.
Just sign a decent bloody striker and play Alexis in his actual position (assuming he stays).
Alexis doesn't track back either. Frankly I don't want my forwards tracking back. That being said I'm not a huge fan of Mahrez. If we're going to sign someone to push Alexis up top you feel like it needs to be someone top drawer.

Yeah we are talking about the front 3 here. Don't care too much about tracking. Pressing sure but not tracking.
It's not like Messi/Neymar, Bale/Ronaldo or Robben/Ribery track back.
Ozil tracks back, he is just woefully weak in the challenge and wouldn't fancy a 50/50 if his life depended on it.

Yeah, if you need your front 3 to constantly track back when you are playing a 3 man defence then something is very wrong. I'd rather let them in a position where they can be prepared to attack.
Mahrez would rediscover his Leicester '16 form in our team.
We need a player with his tricky dinky.

I suspect he'll have offers from CL teams like Spuds & LFC for a start in the PL. Hell if we lose both Sanchez and Ozil I'd say Everton looks in better shape than us.
Mahrez is a fraud. Don't want him and his twig legs anywhere near Arsenal.
He's be a Debuchy within two years
