Slowly getting interested in analogue modular synthesisers, but I'm not that far along the way yet.

Built myself a so called "jerkoff module" (stop giggling down the back) last night from a kit - a chaotic voltage controller that emits a signal whose orbit is controlled by a third order nonlinear differential equation.

Very cool Burnsy, very cool. Not really related to analog synth, but...I'm working on a parametric speaker made from rows of ultrasonic transducers from a kit right now, I want to install them into architectural elements to make specific audio environments. The soundlazer is a bit pricey for the number of them I want to do, so building them myself so I can customize for specific applications.

Awesome. I'd like to hear more about that project. I have a degree in electrical engineering, but I'm not really an electronics nerd. In fact I hadn't soldered anything for over a decade before I built my "jerkoff" 🙂

Fun anecdote - Rob Halford started a certain leather trend in metal. Little did they know he took the style from the San Francisco gay scene. Rockers are IMO a very homophobic group too. 🙂
