Got the Manchester show from that era on DVD. Shaun Ryder, Roots Manuva and Martina Topley Bird on top form, lovely tribute to Ibrahim Ferrer at the end and, when I first saw this show, I didn't know Hong Kong - so that was a wonderful surprise.
Also felt like this was the start of Damon adopting a less dickish persona in the media. Maybe it had happened before then, but he seemed genuinely humbled by the reaction he/they got here.
