Gilles is brilliant, isn't he? He has introduced me to tons of stuff that I would have never heard of.

Excellent. Watching the highlights for Janelle's set, it looks almost identical to the one she played in Birmingham. A brilliant performer.
I heard Radiohead only played their new stuff, that's slightly annoying. Hopefully they'll headline 2013.
They played alot of TKOL, but it worked brilliantly imo. Also the classics from In Rainbows, as well as I Might Be Wrong, Street Spirit, Staircase and The Daily Mail.
It was one of the best moments in my life.
Did you see City and Colour James?
This vid seems appropriate right now.... Glasto 7 years ago.
I did mate, yes. Well, for 45 minutes, before i had to shoot off to see QOTSA. It was painful dragging myself away though, he was brilliant. Incredible voice, it really is.
Nice one, could listen to him all day. Probably my favorite vocalist.
I'm with you there.
Dope track.

I know this guy.
How did you find out about him?
Was jamming to some Collie Buddz over the weekend. Not a massive reggae fan, but I'm feeling his songs. My faves are Sensimillia, Come Around, Burn down the system, Private show, and of course, Mamasita. Wine ya waist music.

No shit? I think he's brilliant. Heard him on Gilles Peterson a few weeks ago, where he did an interview and a small acoustic set. I've played that track to some of my friends, and they all love it.
listening to fair to midland's new album arrows and anchors. sounds amazing. ridiculously melodic and extremely complex/layered music. they are by far my favorite band.
Cut Copy's Zonoscope has been getting me through work recently. Brilliant album.
Really liking this, cheers for the recommendation.
song of the year:
arguably the best song on black country communion's new album:
New Beyonce video...Oh my...
Saw Robert Forster from the Go-Betweens last night. Great mix of caustic self-satire and "modern love songs". Probably the closest thing to an Australian Morrissey, which will probably make some of you want to puke.
Caught these guys on a late-night TV talk show here in the states. Thought this was a fairly catchy track:
