RocktheCasbah im actually excited about this, because if i had to say what percentage of my listening is 90s music vs early aughts music, its like 80/20 if not higher, so im interested in hearing more in depth discussion of 00s music.
i finished college in 2003, and at that point, i got really into avant garde jazz (john zorn and all the tentacles that branch off his music) and then i went through a big classical/jazz/electronica phase, so i feel like i missed out on a lot of rock music that was created from like 2004 onward, and i still dont really listen to a lot of contemporary rock music.
